'Pulsfusion - Hard Surfacing'

  • The process allows the operator to apply a dissimilar metal to another metal body.

  • The advantage of this coating is the coolness of the weld and the range of metals which can be applied. Our process has been successful in applying metals ranging from titanium, inconel, stainless, to tungsten carbide.

  • The process has shown it's greatest advantage in recovering worn bushings, valve seats, and bearing fits. These parts, previously scrapped when .001" -.003" undersized, can now be recovered by PulsFusion weld.

  • The PulsFusion welding process makes a metallurgical bond between the electrode and the base metal.
